High levels of vitamin D doubled the rate of colon cancer survival according to a recent study *. This study looked at both sunshine exposure and dietary sources of vitamin D to find that three quarters of the patients with the highest vitamin D levels were still alive at the end of five years but less than two thirds of the vitamin D deficient patients made it out alive. And this study was with patients who did the standard care surgery and chemotherapy treatments. The association of low vitamin D levels and cancer rates is well-known, yet how many cancer treatment plans include supplementing vitamin D and getting brown in the sun? Not many… In fact, this study doesn’t even recommend vitamin d for cancer treatment. Instead it recommends more study. You don’t have time for more studies! Waiting til the last minute to check your vitamin D levels could be fatal…
Drinking pasteurized milk increases the risk of oral, stomach, colon, rectum, lung, testicular, prostate and breast cancer. Most cows’ milk is infiltrated with herbicides, pesticides with dioxins – up to 200 times any “safe” levels. Did you know that store-bought milk can contain up to 20 different kinds of painkillers, antibiotics, growth hormones, anti-inflammatory drugs, ibuprofen, lipid regulators, anticonvulsants, beta-blockers, antibiotics and drug hormones? Did you know that milk normally contains over 50 hormones and growth factors that help a baby calf grow? Double-dipping for profit at your expense: Eli Lilly is a Big Pharma company that creates cancer in humans with their product rBGH (used for upping dairy cows’ milk production), and then turns right around to sell cancer treatment drugs like Gemzar and Evista for the resulting cancer from the rBGH in milk. Cows treated with rBGH produce milk that has high levels of insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1) which is shown to cause breast, colon and prostate cancers. The hormone rBGH is a feminizing hormone also linked to early onset of puberty in girls. This junk is found in virtually all dairy products that aren’t specifically labeled “No rBST” as rBGH milk is not required to be labeled. In general, drinking pasteurized cows’ milk is strongly associated with an increase in hormone-dependent cancers.
